Anyone in the comic community... especially those who frequented the Chicago Comic Convention should know Mart Nodell. Mart created in my humble opinion, the greatest comic character ever... Green Lantern. I was lucky enough to meet him a few times before he passed. He was really frail when I met him, but it didn't make it any less cool. He did sign my GL golden age edition and I've got a spiffy green clock in my living room he signed and did a little sketch on. When you stop and think about it Alan Scott (Green Lantern's alias) outlived his creator, and will continue to live on long after I'm gone. Thanks Mart, you put something great into the world.
