Had someone ask for an original piece featuring them and a Taniwa.  Stole a bit of the layout from Frazetta.

I will never say I hate drawing Spider-man again after having to draw the Miles Morales costume.  It is beyond annoying.

Bollywood Wedding Comic Invite

This one took me a while but mostly because it pushed me out of my comfort zone to try some different styles and different patterns and colors I'm not used to working with.

Staircase

In this one I was just working on setting and how to fade colors during daylight as they blend into the background.

Giant Robot

This one I got the 3 point perspective correct but I've colored it a bunch of times and I just can't seem to find something that I like.

Balance

This one was me working on 3 point perspective, which is more difficult than you think.  It didn't work out as well as I wanted it to but I'm still pretty happy with the lighting.

Bounce

I did this one as part of SCBWI's Draw This with the keyword "bounce".  I didn't make the road wide enough but overall I've got a positive reaction from this one.

Scary or menacing

In this piece I was trying to create mood not only using colors but shading.  This one ended up being a middle grey and I'm not 100% happy with it.  I'd be surprised if it make it into my final portfolio.

Southern Hopisphere

Had another submission to the Arcade Brewery, the past two times I entered I spend a good chunk of time on the submission, I decided I wouldn't spend more than 3 hours on any submission if I was going to do it so this was my submission this time.

Odyssey Hive Submission

I entered a contest for a beer label.  I didn't get enough votes to make it to the finals, but I was proud of if.  It was based off of 1990's comic books (image) and was supposed to be an entire team of bee people.

Warrior Logo

The School I worked for asked me to redesign their Warriors logo.  I came up with a few but this is the one the staff and students wanted.

Spider-man Themed wedding invitation.

Did a Spider-man themed wedding invite that I really enjoyed.  The background turned out great for having such little work put into it.

Drawing Progression

Did some sketching the other day and decided to take one to completion.  I decided to take all the images I did and put them in order so you could see them.

I was kind of in the mood to draw some Judge Dredd after watching the new movie, so this is the sketch.  Took me about 40 minutes to draw and then about another 30 minutes to ink.  15 minutes for the grey tones.  I am convinced I could have done better with that time if I knew hid uniform better.

Predator Wedding

I had an awesome request from a couple that wanted a "Predator Style Wedding Invitation".  That is what I gave them.  I really had fun doing the background.

Body Builder Wedding

I had a body building couple that wanted me to do a drawing for them.  I had so much fun doing it because of all the muscles and anatomy.  They also wanted a flair of "Wonder Woman and the Hulk" so I think I added just enough to make it work.

Green Lantern Kid

I was asked to make just a portrait of a friend's son as the Green Lantern.  I had a lot of fun doing it, and it adds to it that it's for a kid.  Well, anyway, I was drawing it and I felt like it was lacking in tones so I went out and bought some Copic Markers.  First off... damn are those expensive, however they did give it some nice grey tones.  I'll probably try using them again sometime, super fun!

Doctor Who: The Time of the Doctor

It is amazing how quickly you can grow as an artist.  I did this image about a year and a half ago in mid 2011 and never got around to coloring it.  With Matt Smith leaving at The Doctor I thought it was fitting that I color it and post it.  Love Matt Smith, can't wait for the next one to see where they take it.  If I were to draw this today it would look A LOT different.

Undead Zombie Wedding Invitation.

I was hired to do a new wedding invitation and they wanted me to have a "grindhouse" feel to it.  I was really happy with the way that this one turned out but I do have to give credit to Thomas Hodge's "Fathers Day" poster from Troma, it really inspired me and the invitation with the layout and composition set me in the right direction.
